Field Trips

Field trips are open to the public and free of charge, but contributions are appreciated.

Participants need to prepare for all field trips with comfortable walking shoes, water, snacks or lunch, sunhat, sunscreen, binoculars for birding trips, field guides (optional), and insect repellent.

Members and visitors are welcome at any experience level, so don’t be shy!

For a variety of considered reasons, FMWAS’ Board of Directors decided to implement a liability release form for all field trips, birdwalks, and events published online and in “The Skimmer.”

The liability release helps protect FMWAS from damages, claims, and purchasing additional insurance. The form was developed in consultation with a pro-bono attorney.

Field trips are open to the public and free of charge, but contributions are appreciated.

All experience levels are welcome.

Occasionally conditions require events to be cancelled.

Please check our website fmwaudubon.org, or on Facebook, or go right now to E-Letter and sign-up for notifications.
