Field trips are open to the public and free of charge, but contributions are appreciated. All experience levels are welcome.
Bring binoculars and/or a spotting scope. Sunscreen, insect protection, appropriate shoes, hat, water, and snacks or lunch are recommended on all trips.
Please refrain from wearing scented cologne, perfumes or aftershave on field trips. It distracts from the experience in nature, and some participants are highly sensitive to it.
Carpooling is encouraged, as is sharing gas expenses with the driver.
New Requirement—All participants in published events and excursions must sign a Release and Indemnification Form which is valid through 2019. Leaders will have forms for those who have not yet signed one.
